The Room: Desert, Forest, and Sea
One Design, Three Environments
This project explores the adaptability of architecture in different natural landscapes, demonstrating how a single space can transform according to its context. Through three rendered visualizations, we present a minimalist circular pavilion set in radically different environments: a mountainous forest, a golden desert, and an infinite marine landscape. The Room, a design showcased in three distinct settings.
Each version of the space plays with the color palette, materials, and lighting to harmonize seamlessly with its location. From the deep greens of the forest to the sandy tones of the desert and the blue reflections of the sea, the design maintains its essence while engaging in dialogue with the surrounding nature.
This conceptual exercise not only highlights the versatility of architectural design but also the relationship between the environment and the perception of space. It is an invitation to envision architectures that transcend location, adapting to diverse landscapes without losing their identity. The Room makes us reflect on how a minimalist design can appear so different in three contrasting natural environments.
