Concept

The CCCB promotes a new sustainable culture consistent with the current climate situation.

Our aim is to encourage sustainability and forest reforestation by creating an organic shape pavilion representing a willow tree.

For this reasons, we decided to use the curved shape of the enclosing as a representation of the leaves and the centered cylinder as the trunk. The aggregation of five “tree” modules creates an intermediated space. In addition, the slope of the roof could be an advantage to create a sort of waterfall irrigating water and reusing it.

Location

We chose this location to bring people together and draw their attention to the attract their attention as they pass by the CCCB, as it is located between the two entrances to the centre’ s courtyard.

Openings

The main openings underline the fluidity and transparency of the centre.
